Job Description

An employer is hiring a Resident Technician to service Wells Fargo in Irving TX. This role will require technical support for users located on the Wells Fargo campus. You will be responsible for assisting with all types of tickets that we receive such as troubleshooting and resolving software issues, hardware issues (provide a hot swap and assist with first time login), WAVE/VDI support, Reimage desktops and laptops, assist with installs, moves, LifeCycle events and EMDL disposal. You will be reimaging users devices via COSMIC utility and transfer end user data. Also, WFDC help center utility to remotely connect to users' machines and work on them. Phone etiquette is a must, you must be able to converse with the user and explain how to do certain tasks or procedures, install software from a website, how to plug and unplug certain cables and convey what they see. White glove service is the expectation. The opportunity will pay $25-27HR and will go for up to two years.

Required Skills & Experience

- Strong software troubleshooting skills
- Able to troubleshoot MS office suite, outlook, VPN network connectivity issues and learn proprietary applications
- Able to back up users' data and reimage device and also remote in to assist them with step by step instructions for how to do certain tasks, procedures, install software forma website, how to unplug certain cables and convey what they see.
- Comfortable working with a ticketing system, ServiceNow preferred
- Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail
- Able to keep up with administrative responsibilities around closing tickets and updating wo's.
