Job Description

Insight Global is seeking two Machine Learning Engineers to join a leading healthcare organization within its Analytics & AI Engineering team, supporting the Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) business. The team is looking to hire one junior-level and one mid-to-senior-level engineer to support a high-priority initiative focused on modernizing and accelerating the benefit plan creation process through Machine Learning and advanced analytics.

Today, onboarding new clients requires Subject Matter Experts and Value Implementation Managers to navigate a lengthy, highly manual process involving client requirements gathering, benefit plan configuration, testing, regulatory validation, and final approvals. This workflow is time-intensive, costly, and operationally complex.

Following a successful Proof of Concept, the organization is launching an MVP designed to streamline plan creation by leveraging historical claims data. The solution will use Machine Learning models to analyze incoming claims and recommend the top 3–5 most relevant benefit plan IDs, providing implementation teams with a strong starting point rather than building plans from scratch.

These engineers will focus on model development, experimentation, training, and validation while partnering closely with the Product Manager and other stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions. The role will primarily utilize Python within a Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment.

This is a hybrid position requiring 1-2 days onsite per week in Irving, TX. This is a long-term contract opportunity with potential for ongoing extensions.

We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. We are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer that believes everyone matters.
