Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join one of our largest Chemical Manufacturing clients in Irving, TX. This individual will execute delivery and logistics activities to ensure on time shipment from multiple shipping points in different states and on time delivery to the customer. In addition to the day-to-day SAP transactions and TMS tendering, the position also involves working with team members to resolve delays, equipment challenges, etc. That may impact on time delivery to the customer. This position will interface with their counterparts in Customer Service to meet productivity and quality metrics thereby ensuring a seamless order-to-deliver process. This position requires some overtime during the work week and potentially some weekend work.

Required Skills & Experience

* 2 - 3 years of Logistics and Transportation.
* 2 - 3 years of SAP - Daily activities, knowledge of SAP transactions, SAP reporting & troubleshooting.
* 2 - 3 years of Transportation Management System (TMS) - Daily activities, knowledge of TMS transactions & troubleshooting.
* Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
* Carrier relationship. (dealing directly with CH Robinson, ECHO, Universal, etc.)
* Ensure adherence to all SOP's and controls.
* Strong communication & verbal skills.
* Track the desk metrics defined for on time shipping and delivery.
* Negotiating and networking skills.
* Conflict resolution skills.
* High School Diploma.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Engineer.
* Fluent in Spanish - Written & Verbal.
