Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Department of Transportation - DOT Compliance Coordinator to support one of our large Telecommunications clients in Irving, TX. This person will join the Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) team and support driver safety initiatives and Department of Transportation compliance activities. The main responsibility of this role is to monitor, track, and maintain the DOT driver qualification database. This will also include driver file cleanup and data validation in preparation for system migration to new EHS Portal. The DOT Compliance Coordinator will run reports, provide compliance data, support new driver compliance initiatives such as driver license monitoring, and administer required federal DOT and state DMV specific driver query programs. The primary focus of this role is to manage driver compliance by reviewing reports of individuals with invalid or suspended licenses. Responsibilities include conducting thorough background checks, completing investigations, and making informed determinations regarding each case. The role requires attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to assess compliance risks effectively. This is a hybrid role with the candidate required to be local to Irving, TX to report onsite 2-3 days per week.

Required Skills & Experience

2+ years of experience monitoring, reviewing, and tracking motor vehicle records
Working knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) compliance
Advanced MS Excel experience (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, Functions)
Experience with process development and process improvement
Bachelor's Degree
