An Oil and Gas client in Houston, TX is looking for a Supply Chain Analyst II to join their team. This person will be reporting directly to the Supply Chain Director of Strategy and Compliance. This is a 6 month contract with the possibility of extension and will work a hybrid schedule (tues-thurs in office, monday and friday remote). This role will be supporting various projects as needed including reviewing contracts, verifying costs with vendors and suppliers, estimating expenditures, and recommending supplier strategies and cost-saving measures to upper management .A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Business Admin or equivalent is required, and previous O&G experience is highly preferred. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and detail oriented. They need to be a self-starter with strong work ethic.
Responsibilities will include:
Validate charges and allocate the costs for suppliers
Maintain the relationship between the client and Suppliers
Work closely with the Supply Chain Category Leads, Operations Managers, and Accounting
Work on Cost Control special projects as needed

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or equivalent
4-8 years of Supply Chain experience
Experience in contract management and/or supplier management
Oil and Gas industry experience
