An O&G Operator in Houston, TX is looking for a Subsea Project Scheduler to join their Capital Projects team. This role will be supporting the planning/scheduling their subsea projects in the Gulf of Mexico. This role is a long-term contract role starting with 12 months and will continue to be extended on an anual basis. This role works a hybrid schedule (mon-thurs in office, friday remote) with half day Friday's.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
*Develop and maintain GOM Asset level III schedules, milestone schedules, schedule reports and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to support project success.
*Facilitates and guides Interactive Planning Sessions, where key project stakeholders plan and review the project tasks, interaction with other tasks, strategy, construction logic, and the duration and timing of such tasks utilizing P6.
*Collaborate with the asset operations team to review offshore platform schedule forecast and schedule changes to determine impact on functional activities.
*Accountable for accurate and timely schedule reports, including variance analysis, critical path, summary, and detailed schedules.
*Actively participate in project review meetings, providing clear and accurate schedule assessment. Provide proactive advice to drive successful project completion.
*Create and maintain alternate schedule data or information reporting, using Power BI, Project Timeline, or other graphical reporting methods.
*Perform contractors schedule review, analyze data, develop schedule status reports, and communicate Management team on issues and /or potential delays.
*Analyze, monitor, and report milestones and progress payments during the project execution, evaluate and verify earned values from Rules of Credit and Work Packages, and provide quantity audits of progress measurement systems.
*Perform schedule what if scenarios and analysis.
*Evaluate schedule analytics using Deltek Acumen Fuse.
*Develop the basis and perform schedule risk analysis.
*Develop and educate company personnel on scheduling processes and standards.
*Keep project management advised of project progress, performance, and resource utilization with particular attention to delays, adverse trends, errors, and omissions.
*Prepare ad hoc information as required by project stakeholders and shareholders (e.g., reports, audits).
*Monitor progress against the approved baseline.
*Coordinate the projects risk identification process, maintain the project risk register, and manage the identification and follow-up of risk mitigation plans. Anticipate critical issues and elevate them to management.
*Develop and maintain Lessons Learned log for review and implementation, and ensure to maintain Back-ups, imported, and exported schedule files are organized in hosting sites.

*Minimum of 10 years of planning/scheduling experience
*Minimum of 5 years of experience with an O&G operator
*Subsea project experience
*Proficient in primavera p6
*Project cost control or risk management experience
