Job Description
An Insight Global client is seeking a Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician to support a regulated, high-throughput sterile compounding operation. This individual will work in ISO-classified cleanroom environments and play a key role in maintaining compliance with applicable USP standards, FDA guidance where applicable, and Texas State Board of Pharmacy requirements.
Hands-on sterile compounding experience is required.
- Perform sterile medication compounding within ISO-classified cleanroom environments
- Adhere to aseptic technique, gowning, and garbing protocols
- Accurately prepare, measure, label, and document compounded products
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of cleanroom spaces in accordance with established SOPs
- Complete batch records, logs, and other required documentation
- Support inventory management, supply organization, and inspection readiness efforts

Required Skills & Experience
- Active Texas Registered Pharmacy Technician license in good standing
- Prior sterile compounding experience (503A or 503B environment preferred)
- Working knowledge of USP <797> and USP <800> standards
- Ability to work extended periods in cleanroom environments while wearing required PPE
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to procedural documentation
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Background in 503A or 503B compounding pharmacies
- Media fill testing, fingertip testing, and cleanroom validation exposure
- Experience supporting regulatory inspections or audits
