An Environmental Engineering firm is looking to hire a Senior Water Operations Specialist to support a project in Houston, TX. This position will require a Class A or B Water Operator license (class A strongly preferred) The primary responsibilities of this person will be to act as an onsite advisor to shift operators to help ensure day to day operation and compliance This person will also largely support the training and documentation of standard operating procedures, including training procedures and performance evaluations of municipal staff. Lastly, this position will include reviewing data, reporting on performance of facility operations and staff, and client consulting. Strong technical writing skills are crucial. This role is a salaried, contract position, with a starting salary range of $130,000-$150,000 depending on level of experience. This role will require employees to work on an alternating shift schedule, working 7 days on, 7 days off. Shifts will be 12 hours, and alternate between day and night shift with other operators. This contract will last between 2.5-3 years, with permanent conversion possible.
