Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Title Analyst to join the Land Administration team at a leading Upstream Oil & Gas company in downtown Houston. This role supports leasing, operations, and production activities across domestic division offices and is responsible for lease and contract analysis, joint interest billing, division interest setup, and maintaining accurate interest ownership records. Daily responsibilities include reviewing lease status, transferring acreage to producing status based on plats and unit summaries, managing lease extensions, royalties, and shut-in payments, and setting up and applying contract terms such as communication agreements, unit declarations, joint operating agreements, and farmouts. The Senior Title Analyst will also establish and maintain division of interest decks for revenue distribution, including calculating and verifying net revenue interests, identifying title requirements, applying lease deduction provisions, creating burden groups, and calculating APO interests.

Required Skills & Experience

5 years of experience in Land, Land Administration, or mineral/royalty title-related work

High School Degree

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Prior experience with the Permian, Eagleford basin, federal land or the Rockies

Tobin Land Suite (TLS) / P2

Professional certification – CDOA, CPLTA, RPL

Bachelor's Degree
