Job Description

A premiere oil and gas client is hiring for a Sr. System Administrator in the Downtown Houston area. This person will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of Microsoft Azure infrastructure and Microsoft Office 365, servers and systems, monitoring system performance, configurations, maintenance and repair. They will ensure that records of systems and equipment inventory are properly maintained, participate in projects to implement applications to the server infrastructure in support of a business need or a business solution to ensure operational reliability. This person will participate in planning and implementation of projects for system operations and systems administration, participate in the investigation and resolution of cybersecurity related incidents, and interface with customers, peers, and managers to evaluate and understand business needs. They will be reporting to the Manager of IT Infrastructure and will be working with working on a team of 6 other team members. The Sr. System Administrator will be required to report onsite 5 days/week.

Required Skills & Experience

* Minimum of seven (7) years relevant Senior Systems Administrator experience

* Must have enterprise system level administration experience in Microsoft Azure

* Prior system administrator experience of Microsoft Exchange Online, Microsoft Exchange 2016, ProofPoint, Exchange Online Protection

* Certification Azure Administrator Cert. (AZ104)

* Azure Security (Infrastructure)
