Job Description
An employer in the Galleria area of Houston, Texas is looking for an Senior IT/OT Infrastructure Specialist. The specialist will be responsible for defining, designing, and delivering the digital infrastructure required to support the company's Louisiana LNG Project being developed under an EPCM model. This role will ensure the facility’s technology foundation, including compute, network, OT/IT integration, cloud, and edge environments, is robust, secure, scalable, and aligned with enterprise standards. The role will interface with key stakeholders across Technology, Operations, Cybersecurity, and the EPCM partner to ensure the facility is aligned with the architectural and strategic goals of the organization. This position pays $90-$120/hr depending on skillset and experience.

Required Skills & Experience
10+ years of experience delivering IT/OT infrastructure in industrial, LNG, Pipeline or energy projects
Experience reviewing network protocols, security standards, cloud hosting solutions
Strong understanding of Infrastructure Hosting specifically with Azure Local and Hyper-V
Strong understanding of Cisco routers/switches
Strong understanding of Palo Alto and/or Checkpoint firewalls
Experience working with EPC/EPCM partners and complex capital project environments
Familiarity with industrial control systems, perimeter security, remote operations, and edge computing models
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in STEM related field
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
Knowledge of infrastructure design for digital twins, data historians, and remote monitoring platforms
Ability to work in dynamic, multi-vendor environments with evolving scopes
Excellent stakeholder engagement, technical documentation, and project coordination skills
