An employer is seeking a Software Engineer to join their team in downtown Houston, TX. He or she will be joining a large midstream pipeline company in support of their legacy applications that helps gather data from various labs to track samples of products to share with other team members. The Software Engineer will ideally be proficient in C#.net as a front end developer, but ideally has experience with backend development and SSRS knowledge. Day today, the Software Engineer will be responsible for typical support type development work , including but not limited to bug fixtures, integrations, testing, designing, etc. Must have experience with Angular and TypeScript, Git, Rest API, Visual Studio, Bootstrap and HTML. This role will be a 6 month contract to hire so US citizen or Green Card holder is required as this company does not sponsor Visa's. He or she must be willing to go onsite 5 days a week with working hours being 8.75 hours Monday - Thursday and 4 hours Friday.

5+ years of programming experience with Angular and TypeScript
Proficient knowledge of .Net framework and C#
Front End proficiency with tools such as Git, Bootstrap, Visual Studios
Proficiency with Rest API's
Strong communication skills to collaborate with other team members, provide status updates on scrum meetings, etc
Comfortable working with a small team - only 2 other SW Engineers on this team
Must be willing to go onsite 5 days a week downtown Houston
Bachelor of Science degree from a 4-year accredited university, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems (CIS), or Management Information Systems (MIS) degree is preferred
Nice to have knowledge of SQL Server Reporting Services, Kendo UI for Angular, RabbitMQ, NServiceBus, ODATA, Test Driven Development, modern testing frameworks, Highway.Data
