Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and driven Software Development Test Engineer to join our team in developing and testing software applications that enable physicians to interact with cutting-edge medical devices implanted in patients with epilepsy. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to life-changing technology in a collaborative and mission-driven environment. This person is required to be onsite 5 days / week in Clear Lake area of Houston, but hours are flexible. Based on knowledge and experience, this position offers an hourly pay rate of $20-30/hr.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute User Interface automated test cases for software applications used in clinical settings.
- Collaborate with software developers and product teams to understand requirements and ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using standard tools.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes.
- Ensure compliance with medical device software standards and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (recent graduates encouraged to apply).
Solid understanding of C# and object-oriented programming principles.
Familiarity with software development lifecycle and testing methodologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Internship experience in software development or software testing.
Exposure to medical device software or healthcare applications.
