Job Description
An Insight Global client in the Houston area is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Engineer to join their dynamic and innovative IT team. As a Senior Network Engineer, this person will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the organization's network and voice infrastructure. Primarily, this person will lead any and all network, voice, and firewall related projects, provide technical expertise, and mentor junior engineers. This position requires strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of network architecture and protocols. This is a permanent position paying $120,000 - $140,000 annually based on skillset and years of experience.

Required Skills & Experience
· 10+ years of experience as a Network Engineer
· Extensive experience in Fortinet firewalls and SASE (VPN solution)
· In-depth knowledge of network protocols and technologies, such as TCP/IP, SD-WANs, and VPNs.
· Strong experience with network equipment, including Cisco routers, Cisco and Fortinet switches, Fortinet firewalls, and load balancers from leading vendors (NetScaler).
· Strong background in enterprise voice systems, including MS Teams and Cisco platforms
· Proficient in voice technologies, including VoIP, SIP, telephony gateways, and session border controllers.
· Familiarity with voice network equipment, including gateways, IP phones, media servers, and telephony interfaces.
· Proven track record of successfully leading network projects from conception to implementation.
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
