Job Description
Insight Global is hiring a Senior Functional Analyst. This role partners with cross‑functional teams to design and deliver finance technology solutions through software configuration, custom development, and AI‑driven automation. It leads digital finance transformation by leveraging AI/ML for forecasting, risk detection, variance analysis, and decision support, while automating key FP&A, accounting, and reporting processes. The role translates business requirements into functional designs and Agile artifacts, ensures scalable and compliant solutions, supports issue resolution and continuous optimization, participates in Agile ceremonies as a key stakeholder, and provides mentorship and training to finance analysts and business users. He or She will be compensated $60-$75/HR depending on their experience.

Required Skills & Experience
5-8 years of experience in finance, financial systems technology supporting finance functions.
Hands-on experience with enterprise finance systems (Workday, Microsoft BI, SAP BPC, Microsoft D365)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand processes around consolidations, planning, finance analytics, and external and internal reporting.
Proven ability to write clear functional requirements and collaborate with engineering team.
Strong understanding of data modeling and integration across finance platforms.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement are required across global teams.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Strong financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and analysis skills.
Hands-onexperience with automation or analytics toolsinfinance and accountingprocesses.
Understanding ofAI/ML concepts (predictive analytics, LLM-based copilots, NLP, anomaly detection).
Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (SAP,Workday,Oracle, etc.).
Background in RPA for finance, intelligent document processing, or automated reconciliations.
Experience leading digital transformation or finance modernization initiatives.
