Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Drone Solutions PM for a premier client located in downtown houston. This person will lead the deployment, scaling, and optimization of enterprise drone solutions across multiple operating sites. This role will work closely with robotics and digital teams to develop use cases, evaluate ROI, and drive standardized drone-in-a-box deployments that support automated data collection and operational decision-making across the business. Responsibilities include: Lead the deployment and scaling of drone-in-a-box (D2D) solutions across multiple sites, enabling automated missions and autonomous data collection, Partner with site teams and stakeholders to develop use cases, evaluate ROI, and document business value for drone deployment, Develop and maintain drone deployment plans, including flight planning, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance, Collaborate with robotics, digital, and operations teams to align on projects, priorities, and enterprise-wide scaling strategies, Support UAS flight planning, execution, and data analysis, ensuring high-quality, actionable outputs, Translate drone and sensor data into meaningful insights that support operational, safety, and efficiency improvements, Document, track, and standardize drone use cases to promote repeatability and scalability across the organization, Ensure compliance with FAA and international aviation regulations, as well as internal safety and risk management standards, Serve as a subject matter expert on drone technology, tools, capabilities, and industry trends.

Required Skills & Experience

5–10+ years of experience working with drones/UAS technologies

Strong project management experience, including cross-functional collaboration

Previous oil & gas industry experience, with an understanding of operational environments and constraints

Expertise in computer vision and machine learning as applied to drone data

Strong understanding of FAA regulations and international UAS regulatory requirements

Hands-on experience with UAS flight planning and data analysis tools

Broad knowledge of the drone market, platforms, sensors, and capabilities

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders

Strong understanding of safety protocols and risk management in industrial environments

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience with DroneDeploy or similar drone software platforms

Strong data-focused skillset, with the ability to turn drone data into actionable insights

Experience supporting oil & gas-specific drone use cases (inspection, monitoring, safety, emissions, infrastructure, etc.)

Familiarity with thermal and RGB sensors, including Optical Gas Imaging (OGI)

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technology, data, or a related field
