Job Description

The SAP SD Solution Architect serves as the enterprise design authority for Sales and Distribution within Insight Global’s Client’s SAP ECC Order-to-Cash landscape, supporting a complex, multi-plant chemical manufacturing supply chain hosted on SAP RISE. This hands-on architect partners closely with Commercial, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance, and external customers to design, govern, and optimize SAP SD solutions that align customer commitments with production, inventory, logistics, and financial processes. The role is responsible for defining ECC architecture standards, minimizing technical debt, enabling integrated plant-to-plant and intercompany processes, and ensuring regulatory compliance and end-to-end traceability across batch-managed environments. In addition, the architect provides delivery leadership for enhancements and rollouts, mentors SAP SD team members, collaborates with SAP and system integrators, and owns the SD roadmap with an eye toward long-term SAP evolution, including future compatibility with S/4HANA. This person will be compensated $70-80/hr depending on experience.
