Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a rotating equipment engineer for a large oil and gas client located in downtown Houston. This rotating equipment engineer will be working in a remote monitoring center, providing support for several different locations globally. This engineer will be responsible for providing direct support of the clients assets by providing performance analysis, root cause analysis, reviewing data trends and finding insights, etc. He/she will be responsible for troubleshooting issues within the field and providing analysis and findings. Must have experience working with compressors, pumps, and gas turbines. Must be comfortable working onsite Tues-Thursday weekly and must have very strong communication skills.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of direct machinery engineering, or field support experience

Working knowledge of compressors, pumps, gas turbines, etc.

BS Degree in engineering required

Experience working with a real time data monitoring system (OSI Pi- software is what they use, AspenTech is another one that is similar)

Experience with vibration analysis

O&G or Petrochemicals experience

Good communication skills

Must be open to hybrid schedule (onsite Tues-Thursday)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

O&G Field experience

Smart signal experience

Vibration analysis certification

Machinery performance analysis experience
