Insight Global is seeking a Risk Manager to join a top energy company in Houston, TX, supporting the engineering, procurement, and construction of multiple hyperscale, mission-critical data centers across the United States. This role will establish and maintain a structured, proactive risk management process across all project phases for data center pursuits. They will quantify and track risks and opportunities, ensuring alignment with cost and schedule forecasts and provide clear, data-driven reporting on project risk exposure and contingency utilization. They will Develop and maintain the project risk register, ensuring risks are clearly defined, assessed, and regularly updated.

Required Skills & Experience
• 10-15 YOE in project risk management in the general contracting industry for large scale industrial construction projects (Portfolio of projects exceeding $300+ million)
• Background in quantitative and qualitative risk assessment methods
• Experience integrating risk management with cost and schedule performance systems
• 4+ years of prior experience in Data Center or mission-critical facility projects
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related discipline
Proven ability to lead workshops, facilitate discussions, and communicate risk exposure clearly to management
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Professional certification in Risk Management (e.g., PMI-RMP, AACE DRMP)
• Experience using risk management software such as Primavera Risk Analysis or Active Risk Manager
Familiarity with project controls tools such as P6, Excel, and Power BI
