Job Description

A large utilities client is seeking a ROW Agent to join their Land & Field Services team in Downtown Houston. This team acquires land for all electric assets as well as smaller gas ones. The current team is made up of one supervisor, and 6 agents. There are a lot of projects that come through and are moving fast. They will need to turn most around with 3-4 days time. There will be days where this individual will be managing multiple jobs simultaneously or working through multiple jobs on the same day. This individual should have expectations of moving quickly. This individual will assist with documents/property agreements, interact with landowners, create property descriptions, prepare documents, ensure compliance/permitting is correct.

Required Skills & Experience

-1-5 years of Right of Way Agent experience
-Experience with permitting
-Experience with acquisition & documentation
-Experience creating property descriptions (Ability to view recorded subdivision plant and know how to site the description plant)
-Experience interacting with landowners & permitting
-IRWA certification or any certification through IRWA

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

-Ability to interpret operational information related to substation systems.
-Certified TREC commission certified.
