Job Description

Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process.
Collaborates with department managers to understand the requirements, duties, and
qualifications desired for the specified vacant position(s).
Assists with job posting and advertisement processes.
Screens candidates, selects qualified and interested candidates for the interviewing
phase, and then connects viable candidates with clients or hiring managers.
Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring
and selection materials.
Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with
managers, directors, and other stakeholders.
Follows up with clients or hiring managers after the interview process to determine
whether a placement can be made; collects feedback when placement is
unsuccessful.
Coordinates with applicable resources to assist in arrangement of meeting locations,
travel, and/or accommodations for applicants and company managers when
necessary.
Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the
offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates,
and other pertinent details.
Checks candidates references and credentials, verifying experience and
backgrounds
Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations,
and company policies.
Collects and analyzes data to maintain current understanding of fair and competitive
market salaries, candidate availability, and demand for candidates in particular fields
Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies
based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
Organizes and attends job fairs, campus events, and other networking opportunities.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work
experience, required.
At least five years managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process highly
preferred.
Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and
recruitment.
Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other
recruitment systems.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.
SHRMs Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential a plus.
