Job Description

An employer in the Houston area is looking for a QA/QC Technical assistant to join their team. This person can sit in Houston or Midland. Daily this person will review and approve turnover packages, manage welder management program, support documentation in the field, audits, materials and inspections. They will also be responsible for helping the team develop digital tools such as inspection forms, FAT checklists, and a digital databook.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of experience with quality assurance and quality control

experience reviewing and approving turnover packages ( mechanical, I&E, and maintenance)

experience with welder stencils and welder qualification process

ability to provide field documentation support

ability to support audits through managing the schedule and grading of the audits

experience with materials management (i.e. purchasing/ selling materials for construction)

Experience developing digital tools such as inspection forms, FAT checklists and digital data books
