Job Description

Responsibilities:
Evaluate changes' impact on the ecosystem and anticipate potential risks or challenges
Ensure accuracy in testing processes, possess meticulous attention to detail, especially in critical environments like payment process
Working with API testing methodologies including validating functionality, performance, and security aspects
Independently collaborate with various stakeholders, including Business owners and Development teams, to prepare detailed test cases.
Day to Day:
One of Insight Globals clients is looking for a mid-level Manual QA to join their team. This individual will play a critical role in supporting the companys eCommerce application. They will help manage an increasing number of projects and ensure that new features and updates meet standards. This individual will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining comprehensive test cases and test plans that align with evolving business requirements. In addition, they will perform API testing using Postman, creating, executing, and validating test cases for RESTful APIs to ensure seamless integration and accurate data flow across systems. Other responsibilities will include collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts. To improve issues, track bugs, and contribute to ongoing process improvements. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who thrives in fast-paced environments, demonstrates strong attention to detail, and excels both independently and as part of a team.

Required Skills & Experience

4-5 years of experience working as a QA
o Proficient in API testing (REST/SOAP)
Experience working with Jira and XRAY test suite
Effectively create test plans for tickets
Configuration management experience (Jenkins, Bit Bucket, etc)
Decent proficiency in written and verbal English communication

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Prior experience leading a QA team (any scale)
Having a leadership aptitude or desire
Experince working with Salesforce
