Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Project Engineer for a large oil and gas employer located in downtown houston. This engineer will be expected to perform overall quality control of work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel performance) and report project status, Prepare, schedule, coordinate, and monitor assigned engineering projects, Interact daily with clients and stakeholders to interpret their needs and requirements, cooperate and communicate effectively with project managers and other engineers on the team,. monitor compliance with applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards, and specifications. Must have strong communication skills and be comfortable working onsite Tues-Thursday.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of experience in a Project Engineer role in the O&G Field

Excellent knowledge of design and visualization software (e.g., AutoCAD).

Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices, and performance standards

Ability to work on multiple discipline projects

Strong project management and supervision skills

BS degree in Engineering

Comfortable working onsite Tues-Thurs

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Primavera P6

Advanced PowerBI skills

Experience with Azure DevOps

Experience supporting projects in automation/software development space
