Insight Global is seeking a Product Owner to join a large Utility company in Houston, TX. The Gas Product Owner serves as a key liaison between the Gas Technology Platform Product Group and enterprise-wide Gas business stakeholders, ensuring alignment between technology solutions and strategic business needs. This role is responsible for developing, managing, and prioritizing the product backlog, translating business objectives into Epics, Features, and User Stories that support the Gas Platforms strategic initiatives and quarterly goals. The Product Owner leads the Product Group through Agile ceremonies and quarterly planning events, owns the Product Roadmap, and fosters cross-team collaboration to address dependencies and drive value delivery. By promoting a positive, growth-oriented environment and championing continuous improvement practices like PDCA, the Gas Product Owner ensures the team is empowered, aligned, and positioned to meet or exceed platform objectives.

Bachelors degree Business Administration, Project Management, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field or 4+ years training and/or experience in utility operations or engineering
At least 2 years of experience in a Product owner role
Experience with Stakeholder Management driving outcomes and creating alignment around a vision or course of action
Strong understanding of user experience
Strong understanding of value realization
strong skills in Product Management
Knowledge of Agile tools such as, Azure or Jira
Knowledge of Agile Scrum and/or Kanban
Knowledge of application of Agile Methodology
Certified Scrum Product Owner certification or other Agile Scrum certifications
3-5 years of experience working within Energy sector or Utility industry
Advanced Certified Scrum Product Owner (A-CSPO), or equivalent, certification.
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or other Agile Scrum certifications.
