Job Description

A client of Insight Global is seeking a Product Analysis Technician to join their team in the SE Houston, TX area. This person will conduct routine and non-routine analyses of in-process items and finished products according to established operating procedures. They will compile data for documentation of test procedures that may include program testing and formulation studies, fully document the product analysis process, and generate the final report. In the lab, they will calibrate and maintain equipment, determine the root cause of malfunction or failure on devices, and support improving product methods. Lastly, they will investigate and correct complaints from the field reports in the CAPA system.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of experience as an electrical technician

Electronic circuit and component analysis experience

Experience using electronic, measurement, and computerized test equipment

Associate degree in a related field

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Bachelors degree in electrical engineering

Experience performing material and component analysis

Mechanical or electronic measuring equipment (microscope, X-ray, or SEM systems)

Medical device experience
