Insight Global is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join a leading Energy company in Houston, TX. This role involves collaborating with a team of fifteen to support mechanical engineering tasks, ensuring industry standard compliance and best practices. Responsibilities include design calculations, 3D modeling, manufacturing support, and maintaining equipment integrity across various product development teams. The Mechanical Engineer will work on designing, calculating, and modeling infrastructure for pilot stage client products and standard data center modules for client server halls. The equipment involved includes pipes, pumps, valves, vessels, HVAC systems, heat exchangers, and other static mechanical equipment. Additionally, the role requires performing skid-based designs and pipe stress analysis.

Data Center experience
Petrochemical, downstream oi & gas industry experience, manufacturing or plant industry experience
STAAD (structural engineering software)
MAP CAD
Previous experience working on and designing Subsea
Manifold's (subsea oil & gas structure)
HVAC equipment sizing
Calculations for flow
Process flow diagrams
