Job Description
A client of Insight Global is seeking a Materials Management Specialist to join their team in Downtown Houston. The Materials Management Specialist is responsible for the development, implementation, and management of companywide supply chain inventory strategies and ensuring they comply with department policies. This person will specifically be supporting substation work. The Materials Management Specialist will join a team of 3 and lead all aspects of planning, monitoring and delivery of inventory material utilized in the Supply Chain. Other responsibilities include monitoring material usage, reviewing invoices, analyzing inventory levels, work order requirements, and resolving any potential issues within invoices and determine the correct payment if needing an adjustment. The Materials Management Specialist will communicate with internal clients, vendors, and the procurement team to achieve total overall value to the Company. This individual is required to work on-site.

Required Skills & Experience
* Bachelors Degree in Industrial Distribution, Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or other related field
* 2-5 years of experience working directly with materials management
* Experience analyzing work orders and identifying what payments need to be modified
* Experience working with Excel, specifically with vlookups and pivot tables
*SAP Experience (work orders)
*Oil & gas industry
*Experience relationship building in past roles
