Job Description
An employer is seeking a Material Handler employee for their warehouse location in Midland, TX. He or she will be joining a leading provider of natural gas contract compression services company to customers in the oil and natural gas industry through the US. The Material Handler will be responsible for overall inventory control for the warehouse onsite in Midland, TX. This includes, but not limited to, storing, receiving, packaging, preserving, issuing, shipping, or transferring, and inventory control. He or she will be responsible for : unloading trucks, inspect material for damage or defects, uncrate and assemble materials if needed, prepare crates and other items to be shipped, process basic shipping / receiving / inventory transactions in computer system. Additionally, the Material Handler will, with training, operate material handling equipment including hand truck, pallet jack, forklift, delivery vehicle, etc.
and deliver materials to appropriate departments and obtain required signatures. This role will be onsite 5 days a week with a rotational on-call schedule.
Required Skills & Experience
3+ years of experience working around various machinery parts and inventory processes
Ability to life 50+ pounds or more
Strong organization skills and processes
Familiarity of working in a warehouse
Must have a clean driving records as this role will require the use of a forklift
