A client of Insight Global is looking for a QA Test Engineer to join their team. This person will be
responsible for evaluating systems to manually validate and verify the processes of software components and products. They will also be ensuring systematic assessment of defined functions or workflows on each product build and detect regression due to code change. A typical day will involve designing and developing manual tests, review and edit user documentation for technical correctness, and review software requirements documentation to provide input to improve product effectiveness, integration and usability. He/She will be working closely with the development team, so strong communication is a requirement.

4-5 years of experience in quality assurance testing
Experience developing and executing test scripts in Shell or Python scripting
Project experience working with IoT or real-time data
Experience with testing full system environments in both backend and UI, and able to identify and explain anomalies/errors found
Experience testing in a cloud environment
Extensive API testing experience
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
