One of Insight Global's clients in the Oil and Gas industry is looking to hire a Machine Learning Engineer within their Optimization group. This team is dedicated to optimizing field operations and production through systems and software. This person will be involved in various projects related to optimizing production volumes, drilling processes, environmental planning, and more. The team currently has a backlog of projects, and the Machine Learning Engineer will be responsible for building inference pipelines for those projects. This position is an open ended contract, with consistent new projects and the potential to convert to a permanent employee. This person must be willing to work onsite in Downtown Houston 5 days / week.

Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Petroleum Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or related field
2-4 years of experience in Machine Learning Engineering
Experienced in product deployment
Experienced in implementing DevOps for model deployment
Knowledgeable in Linear Regression models Experience with high frequency data processing
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Knowledgeable in GitHub actions and advanced CI/CD workflows
Experience with Linux
Experience with Python Programming Language
