We are seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee daily back-of-house operations for a fast-paced bakery in Houston, TX. This role is responsible for managing kitchen staff, ensuring food quality and safety, maintaining efficient production workflows, and supporting overall operational excellence. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, bakery or food production experience, and a hands-on management style.

Required Skills & Experience
3+ years of kitchen or bakery management experience in a high-volume environment
Strong leadership and people management skills
Hands-on experience with baking or food production preferred
Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation, and kitchen compliance
Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities
Manage daily kitchen operations, including food production, baking schedules, and preparation
Lead, train, schedule, and supervise kitchen and bakery staff to ensure productivity and quality
Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations at all times
Oversee inventory management, ordering, and cost control to minimize waste
Maintain consistency in recipes, portioning, and product quality
Collaborate with ownership and front-of-house leadership to meet business goals
Troubleshoot operational issues and implement process improvements
Bilingual (english and spanish)
