Job Description

Insight Global is looking to hire a Technical Specialist for our client in private equity. The IT Specialist will be responsible for overseeing and managing the firm's technology infrastructure, ensuring the seamless operation of their network systems. Reporting directly to the CFO and working independently, this pivotal role plays a critical part in optimizing their technology solutions to support their business objectives. This client works in a Microsoft Environment with O365, Active Directory, Azure, and CISCO technologies. In addition to providing exemplary customer service to their internal stakeholders, this role will also entail the strategic management of their primary technology outsourcing vendor, (MSP), ensuring effective collaboration and the delivery of high quality services.


Responsibilities:
- Oversee the management and maintenance of the firm's technology infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network systems.
- With their external service provider, manage IT service delivery to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Lead the firms cybersecurity program in collaboration with a Third party vendor.
- Proactively identify and address IT issues, troubleshooting technical problems, and providing timely resolutions while delivering exceptional customer service.
- Identify IT security risks and develop mitigation plans.
- Assist in developing and enforcement of security procedures.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure quality service delivery and cost effective solutions.
- Developing and ensuring compliance with IT policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements while maintaining a focus on delivering superior customer service.
- Support the procurement process, including equipment and software purchases, from start to finish, including vendor assessments and contracts.

Required Skills & Experience

- Bachelor's degree from a 4 year University in IT, Computer Science, or related.
- 1+ years of experience in IT service delivery.
- Strong technical skills to troubleshoot and manage network systems, hardware, and software.
- Excellent customer service and ability to implement solutions.
- Comfortable working in a business professional environment.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- ITIL, CompTIA, or Cisco certification.
- Experience in the financial services industry.
- Experience supporting an MSP.
- ServiceNow Experience
