A client of Insight Global's is seeking n IT System Analyst 2 with the primary responsibility to serve as a liaison between Asset business units and the IT department, ensuring technology initiatives align with business strategy and IT best practices. This individual supports the IT portfoliocovering measurement, accounting, and schedulingby managing issues, user access, training, and value tracking. They oversee projects from initiation to completion, maintain user engagement, and ensure IT tools meet expectations. The role involves coordinating IT services, managing vendor relationships, and identifying risks, while upholding company values of integrity, ownership, urgency, alignment, and innovation. This role is 5 days a week onsite in downtown Houston at a rate of $60-$70/hr.

-Bachelors Degree from an accredited four-year university or college with a degree in economics, business, management information systems, or a closely related field. Additional experience may substitute for education on a year for year basis.
-3 - 5 years of experience with Oil and Gas: Economics, Information Systems Administrator/Analyst (IT), or Business Analysis experience.
-Working knowledge of maintenance management systems or equivalent experience.
-Working knowledge of cloud application infrastructure.
-Ability to conduct application troubleshooting.
-Proficiency in the use and application of the following software:(Microsoft: SQL, SSRS, Power BI, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint , FlowCal, TIPS, WEnergy , Working knowledge of oil and gas industry applications and processes)
-Certification in Advanced Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), Information Technology Software Management (ITSM). LEAN and/or Six Sigma, preferred but not required.
-Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, preferred but not required.
-Experience in FlowCal, TIPS, WEnergy preferred.
