Job Description
We’re looking for a reliable, hands-on IT technician to support our Houston office, shop locations, and job sites. This is an entry-level role for someone who’s comfortable working with their hands, solving problems, and traveling between locations as needed. You’ll handle day-to-day IT issues, set up equipment, and act as support for senior IT staff. This is not a desk-only job — you’ll be out in the field, in shops, and occasionally at job sites.
What You’ll Do
· Fix basic computer issues (desktops, laptops, printers, etc.)
· Respond to IT tickets and help users with day-to-day problems
· Travel between office and shop locations to provide support
· Set up new computers, devices, and equipment
· Help troubleshoot network and connectivity issues
· Work in shop environments supporting workstations, tool controllers, and shop systems
· Act as “remote hands” for senior IT or outside vendors
· Help with employee setup (new hires, equipment, accounts)
· Track and manage IT equipment inventory
· Go to job sites in the Houston area when needed
Work Environment
· Mix of office, shop floor, and job sites
· Local travel required (Houston and surrounding areas)
· Hands-on work — not just sitting behind a desk

Required Skills & Experience
Basic IT knowledge (Windows, hardware, Microsoft 365)
· Dependable and able to get the job done
· Comfortable working in shop/industrial environments
· Able to follow direction and work through tickets
· Good attitude and willingness to learn
· Able to lift and move equipment when needed
· Valid driver’s license and able to travel locally
Nice to Have Skills & Experience

· 1+ year of IT support experience
· CompTIA A+ or similar certification
· Experience working in a shop or field environment
