Job Description
An Insight Global client in the Houston area is seeking an IT Project Manager to join their team in a hybrid role in Downtown Houston. This person will be responsible for supporting an existing oil & gas application technology initiative. The ideal candidate will be a hands‑on, execution‑focused Project Manager who is comfortable operating in a dynamic, evolving project environment. The role focuses on day‑to‑day project management within a somewhat agile development model, with an emphasis on coordination, structure, and delivery discipline across software implementation and system integrations. This person will also need to be collaborative, approachable, and effective at facilitating conversations as well as reinforcing core PM best practices, setting realistic expectations, and ensuring deliverables remain on track. This role will be an 8-12 month contract and will pay $50-$60/hr based on years on experience.

Required Skills & Experience
10+ years of experience as an IT Project Manager supporting application development or implementation initiatives
Experience managing software delivery and system integrations
Strong hands‑on project execution skills, including scope, schedule, and budget management
Comfort working in environments where requirements evolve and clarity must be built over time
Excellent communication and facilitation skills
Ability to guide stakeholders around the efforts required to design, integrate, and deploy IT solutions
Collaborative and approachable style, balanced with the confidence to enforce PM standards and timelines
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Oil and gas industry experience
Experience with Crude Measurement systems
Familiarity with HighWire from Agile Midstream Products (AMP)
