Job Description
An Insight Global client in the Houston area is seeking an IT Project Manager with a strong background in software development projects to lead and deliver complex initiatives. This role requires a true PM who can own delivery end-to-end, while also driving structure, accountability, and alignment across stakeholders. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience managing application development efforts within software development specifically, and its comfortable operating in a hybrid Agile/Waterfall environment. Additionally, the ideal candidate facilitate collaboration across cross-functional teams including engineering, product, and business stakeholders. This is a hybrid role onsite in Downtown Houston three days a week (Monday - Wednesday) and working from home Thursday and Friday with a pay rate range from $60 - $70/hr based on years of experience.

Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience as an IT Project Manager focused on software application development
Experience driving requirements gathering, creating clear project briefs, plans and documentation, and managing project schedules, timeline, and hour estimates
Proven ability to drive and manage end to end SDLC initiatives
Experience working in both Waterfall and Agile environments
Familiarity with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps (ADO), Jira, etc.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with executive leadership in a clear and concise manner
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience with platforms such as Palantir
