-An Insight Global client is currently seeking an IT Cybersecurity Engineer to join their team. This individual will collaborate with IT management to develop and implement long-term, worldwide technical direction, strategies, and initiatives, ensuring the delivery of reliable, innovative, and secure solutions aligned with IT's mission. They will manage alerts sent by SOC, ticket response, searching in Splunk, firewall logs, email phishing campaign assistance with the KnowBe4 platform (can train them on), willing to learn new tech, know the networking side of things, need to be able to secure underlying technologies. Respond to alerts that are generated by SOC and automated systems, answer the phone when called, responsible enough to take on security for clients and keep operational technology safe for the operators. Will be involved in helping with deployments if/when they have them. Server and work station patching, security patches, operating system patching, and deployments when necessary. Review and update documentation, security policy updates etc. Ability to manage small projects like upgrading cortex.

-5+ years of experience implementing, managing, troubleshooting advanced cybersecurity technologies
-Experience managing alerts sent by SOC
-Experience managing Splunk and writing Splunk queries
-Experience managing email phishing campaigns and responding to potential threats
-Experience in network security is required (preferably Palo Alto)
-Bachelors degree in computer science, IT, engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience
-Experience with patching
