Insight Global is seeking an experienced IT Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Consultant to join one of our large retail clients in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will provide expertise in PCI DSS and SOX compliance, ensuring IT internal controls are met, and will utilize data analysis to develop proactive IT risk management strategies. Responsibilities include identifying KPIs and metrics, preparing reports for management, maintaining accurate documentation of controls, leading the IT policy exception management process, promoting IT risk assessment programs, and collaborating with various teams to develop security awareness materials. The candidate will also manage meetings effectively, ensure adherence to IT department standards, and develop a thorough understanding of company policies and procedures. The pay rate for this position will be between $40-50/hr.

· 2+ years work experience in IT governance management, IT compliance, or IT audit
· 1-2 years of experience with IT policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines
· CISA/CISM (Both preferred)
· Formal knowledge of IT systems and processes, and systems development life cycle processes and policies
· Strong knowledge of IT industry standards and best practices as they relate to IT governance areas such as COBIT, COSO, PCI-DSS, ITIL, ISO 27001
· Strong knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley and the procedures surrounding publicly held corporation reporting and documentation
2-3 years of experience working with compliance initiatives related to Sarbanes-Oxley, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS preferred
Corporate retail IT experience, preferred
