Job Description

Insight Global is hiring a Desktop Support Technician to join our construction client. This is a 6-month Contract to Hire role located 100% on site in Houston, TX 77079. This role will be responsible for windows imaging, software installs, printer installs, AV support in conference rooms, shipping equipment, new hire equipment set ups, and more. Additionally, they will use the Service Now ticketing system and this person will be responsible for 150+ tickets per month on average. Soft skills such as customer service, communication, responsibility and ownership of your work, and ability to research, troubleshoot, and problem solve will be important for this position. The right candidate should want to learn and grow with the company long term.

This position can pay up to $26/hr depending on experience.

Required Skills & Experience

2 years of desktop support experience working on tasks such as windows imaging, software installs, printer installs, new equipment set up, AV set up, and general troubleshooting
Experience using a ticketing system such as Service Now or similar ticketing system
Experience troubleshooting on Windows 10, Teams, Zoom, Webex, and both hardware and software experience
Soft skills
- Clear and direct communication
- Customer service skills to build relationships
- Responsible, driven, and organized
