Job Description

An Insight Global Automotive Financial Insurance client has a role available for a highly skilled QA Analyst with strong experience in both manual and automation testing within an Agile/Scrum environment. This individual will support web and API-based applications and own end-to-end testing throughout the SDLC. The ideal candidate has a strong technical QA foundation, hands-on automation experience, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally to ensure high-quality releases.

Targeted Pay Rate: $10-15/hr

Required Skills & Experience

6+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance

Strong manual testing skills with deep understanding of SDLC, STLC, and test design techniques

Automation testing experience using Selenium (Java and/or JavaScript)

Experience with API testing using Postman

Proficiency writing and executing SQL queries for backend data validation

Experience with functional, regression, integration, system, and compatibility testing

Hands-on experience with JIRA for defect tracking and test management

Familiarity with GitHub for version control, branching, pull requests, and CI integration

Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments and participating in Agile ceremonies

Strong collaboration skills working with Developers, Product Owners, and Business Analysts

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience in the Insurance domain

ISTQB certification

Exposure to AWS or other cloud platforms

Experience with automation frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, or Mocha

Experience with ETL testing
