Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our fast-paced software development team. The ideal candidate will excel in understanding business needs, translating them into detailed requirements, and creating functional designs using Figma. You will be the vital link between our stakeholders, UI designers, and software development team, ensuring seamless communication and understanding across all stages of the software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and document detailed requirements.
Design Translation: Use Figma to translate business requirements into functional designs and prototypes.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with UI designers and software developers, providing them with clear specifications and support.
Communication: Serve as a key point of contact for all queries related to business requirements and designs. Work with outside design firms as appropriate.
Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any ambiguities or discrepancies in requirements and designs.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of requirements, designs, and specifications.
Process Improvement: Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and methodologies used for requirements gathering and design.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelors degree or equivalent in Business, IT, Computer Science, or related field.
Proven experience as a Business Analyst.
Expert proficiency in Figma and similar design tools.
Strong understanding of software development and UI design processes.
Excellent communication in English
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of UI/UX principles, enabling effective collaboration with design teams and ensuring that user interfaces meet functional requirements.
Strong skills in Azure DevOps to create User Stores to document all the requirements to provide to Development Team and assist in verifying implementation when development is completed.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience in the oil and gas industry, with knowledge of oilfield equipment and processes
Experience in Agile/Scrum environments, demonstrating an understanding of various Agile methodologies and their application.
Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation, aiding in making data-driven decisions and improvements.
Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in requirements gathering, documentation, and design translation.
Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to negotiate and work effectively with diverse stakeholder groups.
Familiarity with project management tools and software, enhancing project tracking and team collaboration.
