Job Description
A packaging materials company is seeking an Industrial Mechanic to join their team in the Houston, TX area. This person will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all production and facility equipment, with a primary focus on blow and cast plastics manufacturing lines. This role is critical for ensuring optimal machine performance, minimizing downtime, and supporting the company's production goals while adhering to all safety and quality standards. This person will need to perform frequent preventative maintenance in addition to troubleshooting equipment malfunctions promptly. This role is 5 days/week onsite in Houston, TX, with flexible working hours and schedule (40 hours/week to be expected).
This role is paying between 90 - 110K depending on relevant experience and education.

Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of Industrial Mechanical experience - ideally in the plastics manufacturing industry
Experience troubleshooting and maintaining blow and cast lines to meet product specifications and maintain optimal performance
Experience performing preventive and predictive maintenance on all machinery, including mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, to ensure equipment reliability and reduce downtime
Experience dismantling and reassembling machinery to repair or replace broken or worn-out components, such as bearings, valves, wiring, and fuse
Local to Houston, TX
