Job Description

An O&G client in Houston, TX is looking for an Incident Management Center Coordinator to join their Business Excellence team. This person will be operating out of their Incident Management Center and is responsible for real-time monitoring, threat assessment, and incident coordination. They will ensure the safety of personnel, assets, and operations. The IM Center Coordinator uses surveillance systems, data feeds, and communication tools to anticipate and respond to security risks across global operations.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Monitor employee and visitor activity on company property to identify and mitigate potential risks.
Escort visitors on the client's property as needed.
Screen guests, packages, deliveries, and vehicles entering or exiting company grounds.
Investigate reports of theft, fraud, or suspicious behavior and document findings.
Collaborate with law enforcement and external partners as needed.
Monitor access control and video management systems for unusual activity or security breaches.
Receive and assess incident reports, escalating appropriately and initiating timely notifications.
Prioritize and respond to inbound emails and calls with professionalism and urgency.
Draft clear, concise reports as needed.
Provide timely updates and emergency information to affected personnel.

Required Skills & Experience

Self-starter with a sense of urgency and high degree of accuracy

Strong knowledge in security operations - ideally within oil and gas operations

Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and communication related software.

Speak and write clearly and effectively; listen to others, correctly interpret messages and respond appropriately - asking questions to clarify; demonstrate openness by keeping people informed.

Education: High School Diplomacy or equivalent

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Preference for experience with security operating access control systems and video management systems
