Job Description

One of Insight Global's industrial services partners is looking for an experienced I&E Designer to join their team in Houston, TX. Daily, this person will be responsible for overseeing all instrumentation and electrical designing for their projects. They will be supporting 5-10 projects at any given time, with the majority of them being brownfield projects. This person will work with other designers and engineers to ensure successful completion of projects, as well as adherence to procedures, standards, and work instructions.

Required Skills & Experience

5-10 years of experience as an Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) Designer (has the experience but is coachable)
Strong Instrumentation Experience
Proficient in 3D AutoCAD 5-10 experiences.
Experience in both instrumentation and electrical design
Downstream or petrochemical/refinery (onshore) industry experience

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Technical or Associate degree
EPC firm experience (engineering, procurement, construction)
Strong design software experience
