Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Level 1 Help Desk Technician to join the team at one of our top financial clients located in Houston, Texas. This person will work mainly remote, but be required to come in once a week. Hours will be normal business hours and an occasional weekend shift 1-2 times per month. You will be responsible for handling basic resolution and service delivery over the phone. You will be assisting with technical support to their users that are having issues with their proprietary applications. You will diagnose and resolve hardware and workstation configuration problems, route calls to other support areas, and alert management when critical. You will also be required to document all issues you handle.

Required Skills & Experience

-1-5 years of experience as a Help Desk Technician
-Experience in a corporate environment
-Experience with ticketing systems
-Knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems
-Bachelors Degree required

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

-Experience supporting a financial services client
