Insight Global is looking to hire a dynamic Flight Software Architect for a commercial space company located in Webster, TX. This individual will be coding the architecture for the entire system of one of the first commercial space stations, including guidance, navigation & control, propulsion and data handling. The Architect will also be responsible for collaborating with multiple teams to define software requirements, architecture, design and verification to ensure the software products meet requirements and safety critical standards. Lastly, they will be leading a team and contributing to technical documentation for architecture, design, and verification plans for the space station software.

Experience in a mission critical software development environment (space, automotive, aircraft, military vehicles, etc.)
Full life cycle software development experience
Experience designing C++ code
Design, deployment, and support of vehicular systems
Experience with build automation, continuous integration, configuration management, verification and deployment of software
Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
Experience working on manned or unmanned spaceflight projects OR other regulated environments. (Spacecraft, aerospace, high fidelity or other heavily regulated environments like healthcare or oil/gas)
