Job Description

A client in the Houston, TX area is seeking a Fire Alarm Specialist to join their team for a permanent role. This company works alongside a global network of partners and manufacturers to design, install, and service security, fire alarm, life safety, audio-visual, and building automation solutions for enterprise customers. In this role, you will service, inspect, and program fire alarm systems. You will be able to quickly diagnose problems and determine most efficient solution. In-house programming will be done with Edwards programming, which include EST 3, EST 4, IO series, & Quickstart. Other programming include the following: Firelite, Silent Knight, Kidde, & Notifier.

Required Skills & Experience

- Fire alarm license (FAL)
- EST 3 & EST 4 certified
- 6+ years of experience with installation, inspection, & service of fire alarm systems
- Strong knowledge of NFPA 72 (Fire Alarm) and NFPA 70 (electrical) codes
