Job Description
A client in the Houston, TX area is seeking three Fire Alarm Project Technicians to join their team for a permanent role. This company works alongside a global network of partners and manufacturers to design, install, and service security, fire alarm, life safety, audio-visual, and building automation solutions for enterprise customers. In this role, you will install, program, perform system start- up/check-out, testing/commissioning, customer training and all associated documentation on assigned installation projects including more complex projects.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Install, test, and repair systems including Fire-Lite, Silent Knight, Kidde, and Notifier
- Program and commission systems (including EST4, IO Series, and other platforms)
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Troubleshoot equipment using standard tools and electronics knowledge
- Operate systems to demonstrate functionality and identify issues
-Write basic programs and develop system graphics

Required Skills & Experience
- 3-5 years relevant experience in the fire alarm or security field
- TX Fire Alarm Installer License
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- FEL license (highly preferred)
- FEL-K license (highly preferred)
- NICET Certification
- EST 3 or 4 Certification
