A large Oil & Gas customer in Houston has 1 opening for an Engineering Tech who will work alongside and support project managers within a specific engineering discipline and liaise between the data management team. The purpose is to implement and suggest better business processes, while serving as the primary executor of information. The ideal candidate is a team player who takes an active role in team responsibilities and remains extremely organized. This team works in a collaborative environment, encouraging all members to actively participate, problem solve and be solution oriented. The individual will be required to build internal relationships, create and follow through on various tasks to support the engineering business unit(s) on projects. The Engineering Tech will be responsible for analyzing, extracting, correcting, and inputting data into several software systems. While keeping up with workflows, task tracking, and generate reports or modifying existing reports in SQL. This is a long-term contract role, starting off at 12 months with the possibility of converting to a full-time employee. The role works a hybrid work schedule, M-F, 9/80, with every other Friday off, remote Mondays and every other Friday, with in office days being Tuesday-Thursday.

-At least 3 years of experience in related role at an Upstream Oil & Gas company
-Bachelor's Degree
-Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
-Comfortable inputting data into systems (SAP, Excel, other software)
-Experience with Workflow management & task tracking
-Proficient at extracting, manipulating, correcting, and analyzing data (Access and Excel)
